From time to time we seek participants to take part in our studies of gambling and other behaviours that have the potential to become addictive. Usually, we're just as interested in those people who DON'T participate in these behaviours as much as those who do! We want to know more about what attracts people to pastimes such as gambling or internet gaming. Why do some people get addicted while others are happy to play occasionally or are just not interested?
Sometimes we're looking for people to fill in a questionnaire online; in other cases we're looking for volunteers for interviews or focus groups.

We are currently recruiting for a study to evaluate the removal of ATMs from gaming venues. The study will look at how effective this is at helping people control their spending at gaming venues.
You are eligible if you:
You can take part whether you gamble regularly, occasionally or even if you don't actually gamble when you are at the venues.
People completing the two short surveys will receive a $50 Coles-Myer voucher as thanks for time and effort.

- Are Over 18
- Have visited venues in Victoria that have pokie machines within the last 12 months (This might be clubs, hotels, even rcecourses or Crown Casino)
You can take part whether you gamble regularly, occasionally or even if you don't actually gamble when you are at the venues.
